This is a story I loved as a kid; don't know how many times I read this. I love how badass Paks is, love she's ace and never gives up. Love she goes from a country girl to a Paladin.
I love her learning from her mistakes, and how she has to work for all the skills she has, how she is always learning new things, how open she is to new cultures.
Note, I have not read the books in a while, so feel free to write whatever floats your boat, mess with the canon. 

Prompts:

Literally whatever you want, but here's some ideas:

• Something from before Paks joined the military - maybe how she first learned of her cousin joining the military, how he jokingly showed her some moves, only to discover she's dedicated?
• Maybe how people she knew in the past react to her becoming a paladin (i love characters slowly realising someone they knew changed in a way they didn't expect)
• Maybe another espionage mission, trying to rescue someone, or break in, or something, maybe you want to have her solve a murder mystery, or something

Fandom specific likes:

I love the angst potential here, with Alex being a child spy. He had to go through rigorous training, got waterboarded, lost friends, got tortured, spent time with assassins. How does he balance this with still being a kid?
I like his relationship with Yassen, his uncle's killer and his father's apprentice. Their dynamic is so complex, they saved each other numerous times and yet tried to kill each other as well. I see Yassen as more of an estranged uncle than a father figure.
Love the angst potential with Alex, especially when he grows older and tries to adjust to real life, but is too scarred by this life to actually move on.
Tom is an interesting one - he wants to help Alex to the point of almost losing his own identity - he sacrifices so much for his friend. 
Yassen is a tough cookie, he's working on three different angles at the same time - is he on SCORPIA's side, MI6's side? His own side? Does he want to kill Alex, or save him? 
Tulip - we mostly see her as a handler, who is she under that?

• Are there other child spies? How do people react to seeing Alex as a spy? How would they train kids to become spies, and how would that impact the kids' brains? Love a child weapon trope
• AU where Alex was raised by the MI6 as a child spy - to adapt to every possible scenario, to suppress his feelings
• AU where Scorpia got to Alex first, but Alex still has his morals, is reluctant to kill but still wants to take down Scorpia
• Someone from school sees Alex's scars and wounds - would they assume the wrong thing?

• A more upbeat story - Alex and Tom go somewhere (camping?), and Alex is a badass. Maybe they are at a fare with their classmates and Alex handles a gun with ease? How would that change how they look at him?
• Alex's brain is always in hyperfocus - always sees potential hiding places, things he could use to kill or maim, always looking out for lies, halftruths, information to remember. How does he cope with this skill he can't turn off?
• Mission takes turn for the worse
• Alex is sent on a mission but somehow ends up with people he knows, how will it pan out? Will they recognise him? Will he complete his mission?
• Yassen and his complicated character - he killed Ian but saved Alex, why does he work with Scorpia? What does he want?
• Alex comes back to school but he no longer fits in;
• Alex comes back to chill and has a set of skills that make the teachers and students wonder where he really was all this time (scar reveal?);
• Alex is kidnapped, K-Unit goes to safe him, but the kidnapper is already dead by Alex's hands;
• Someone tries to kill a target Alex befriended/was assigned to, he reveals his status as an agent by protecting them but gets hurt in the process (I'll leave it to you if it's psychological or physical);
• The aftermath of Scorpia;
• Alex was used to a chair tightly and has to get out before he looses feeling in his limbs;
• The missions end for good, but nothing is the same;
• Tom's view of Alex - how they met, how he sees Alex's time at MI6/Scorpia

Okay, so I love how upbeat the story is in the beginning, only for the readers to get roped into a bigger arc. Love all characters (but Jason is my favourite here, then Bruce, Dick and Timmy), and how close they are. How their personalities shine through!

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)

Fandom specific likes:

I love DnD and the world it's set in (I dabble in TTRPGs), the mix of medieval and fantasy. The movie is very fun and balances the more heartfelt moments with comedy brilliantly.

I like Edgin as a character (I think he's a bit tragic, going from a man driven by his idealism, only to have his wife taken away from him because of one moment of weakness), how he's a good guy trying to repent for his shortcomings, how he doesn't want to see the good in himself and yet ends up choosing the right thing. Love how Kira and Holga are the two most important people in his life, how in the end he doesn't let the happy memories of his wife control his present. I like how despite being a thief, he chooses to see the best in people, to a fault. Love how charismatic he is, and how even though he knows how to fight somewhat, his brain is his strongest weapon. Love his platonic relationship with Holga and how they raise Kira together!

Xenk is among my favourites, how straightforward and openminded he his, how he treats everyone the same and gives them the benefit of the doubt. I like Xenk/Edgin, but they can be friends just as well. He's definitely a tragic character, the last of his whole nation, having witnessed first hand the genocide of his people. I love how despite all he's lived through, he chooses to be kind.

Doric is my second favourite, how sarcastic and disillusioned she is and yet decides to help Edgin. I'm not too keen on stories focusing on Doric/Simon (it's fine if you want to include them, but please don't make their romance story the focus). I love how feisty, how strong and quick witted she is. 

Simon, the anxious spellcaster! I enjoy how he blurts out the weirdest things, how complex he is - he's powerful but only when he believes in himself, and then remembers to doubt himself so he fails. He clearly has some issues with his family, and chose to go out and make a name for himself - only to end up a petty thief. Love how he uses his wit in unconventional ways, like when he used the gravity spell to get away.


If you want to include others from the party - Kira, Holga - go ahead! I love them too, Holga with her golden heart and sharp axe, and Kira, a beginning adventurer.


 

Prompts:

• Another heist (or planning the heist, getting intel, finishing the heist, any part of a heist will be great), does something go wrong? Do they have to go undercover, use different methods than usual?
• Maybe someone gets hurt, and someone else needs to help them out of a dangerous situation?
• Dungeon crawling?
• Someone's past, a character study? 
• How the core party members met? Did they like each other, or was it a 'you're convenient, I'll stick with you' type of situation?
• What happens after the movie? Do they stick together, go on another mission? Or maybe lay low for a while?
• Someone recognises them - how do they deal with the attention?

I like how nice Benoit is, how Columbo-like he is. I love how 'cosy' the vibes are, and how Benoit needs to be  intelectually stimulated to feel alive. Love his fashion choices, and how he over the top he sometimes is. Love how he notices things but lets the story unfold before he lets everyone know he knows what they did. 

Prompts:

• Case fic (I'll be happy with any part of the case, the start of the story, maybe someone comes to Benoit to ask for his help, or he stumbles upon a crime; the middle, when he's deep into an invistigation and doesn't have the full picture yet; the end, when he's just about to catch the culprit)
• An invistigation over something silly (who broke the coffee machine, stole candy, damaged a book)
• What he does when he's free?
• A day of BB
• How BB and his husband met? How they fell in love? Their anniversary?
• How BB started out as a detective? Did someone teach him the skills, or was it natural? Was he always this good, or maybe it came with experience?

I am familiar with the book (finished Network Effect), so I don't mind if you include things up to that point. I do think the TV series is a different story to the books, so if you prefer to stick to the series only - fine by me.
I like the vibes of the show - you see how much more menacing MB can be if we don't hear its constant monologue, don't see it's panicking, but only see how PresAux sees it - as a deadly construct that could kill them at any point.

Love seeing strong characters like Harry slowly losing their shit and becoming more and more disheveled and not being allowed to rest haha Love how kind he is and yet so dangerous!
I really like how action packed the series was, and how the characters all reacted to each other differently. Harry knows everyone and is clearly really intelligent - it'd be interesting to see how/why he stays on the sinking ship that's Kevin's family, same with Kev. He knows he's in a position of power thanks to his father, and is clearly smothered by his parents (and traumatised by his past), but tries to be better than them nonetheless.
If you want to write some Kevin/Harry - go ahead! I would like to avoid cheating plot though, so please either have their wives spearate from them, dead, or never become their wives in the first place. Or have the story take place before they got married.

I love how tense and yet clearly affectionate the team is with each other, how they know others really well and yet there are things Leo or Adam don't mention to Pia and Esther (like their shared past).
I like Pia and Esther together, how Esther seems cold and aloof, but actually it's a mask to protect herself from danger, and how Pia worked her way under Esther's skin. I like Esther/Pia, but if you want to see them as friends, it's good too!
I ship Adam/Leo, but if you don't want to write them as boyfriends/partners, I don't mind them being 'just' friends!
I love how complicated everyone's relationship is haha
